Here’s A Thought
A questioner at Ramana Maharshi’s Ashram at Arunachala (Hill of Wisdom) expressed concern about losing his accustomed self-reliance on account of his hearing becoming defective.
Ramana Maharshi responded, “You were not self-reliant; you were ego-reliant. It is good that ego-reliance is banished, and that you become truly Self-reliant.”
