For the graphics version, Fascinating Rhythm Brother Theophyle is sitting on the ground, leaning against a rock. On a tree branch overhead is a squirrel listening to a "boom box" radio which is playing Willie Nelson singing "Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys ...". The squirrel says to the radio, "Sing to me, Willie!" And then to Theophyle, "How about you, Theo, can you dig him?" Theo answers, "Willie Nelson? You bet!" In the next frame, the squirrel is on the ground with Theo, as is the radio, which is now playing Willie Nelson singing, "On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again ..." The squirrel asks Theo, "So what's your favorite Willie Nelson song?" Theophyle replies, "Let's see, my favorite Willie Nelson song? I like everything he does, but I think my favorite would be Manhattan Transfer singing Fascinating Rhythm." A chipmunk observes, "Mine too, if they had sung that." A butterfly off to one side exclaims, "Manhattan Transfer? Far out!" |
