For the graphics version, Walking A Treadmill Brother Theophyle is walking on an exercise treadmill. He says to Rabbit, "Okay, listen up. My physician told me to walk two fifteen minute miles every day. Well, that's minutes. Who's got that kind of time, right? So, guess what, I've increased the treadmill's speed. Now, I still walk the half hour, but I get through it much more quickly. Pretty clever. don't you think?" Rabbit replies, "Yes, indeed, pretty clever." To the side are two frogs. One asks the other, "What'd Theo just say?" The second answers, "You know, I really like the fellow, particularly the way he attracts flies and mosquitoes. But, truth to tell, I never can quite understand what he says." |
